Välkommen till BrobyGrafiska JDF forum vecka 40.
Välkomna ännu en gång.
Intresset för JDF och affärssystem som kan hantera denna form av information ökar konstant. Riktigt kul är att de lite mindre affärssystemen verkar vaknat och vill implementera JDF i sin MIS system. Denna vecka fick vi därför besök av Admera (Johan Yman och Andreas Magnusson), en av de Svenska leverantörerna av MIS system. De är mycket intresserade av att tillsammans med skolan testa och utveckla detta. Som ett första skede kommer skolan att testa och prova genererade JDF filer från Admera. De tror som vi helt och fullt på JDF som konkurrensmedel i framtiden. Vi väntar med spänning på första JDF filen för test i våra arbetsflöden.
Vi fick också ytterligare ett besök från ESKO denna vecka. Mr. Sean Runchman kom tillsammans med Jan Viberg på ett besök på skolan. För vår del känns det mycket viktigt att en så stor sponsor besöker vår skola för att bilda sig en uppfattning om hur vi använder deras utrustning. Detta besök betyder troligen mest för våra elever när det gäller att få praktikplatser och jobb senare i livet. Enligt Sean är det mycket svårt att i England få tag i utbildad arbetskraft.
Nästa vecka åker vi som jag tidigare nämnt till San Fransisco och CIP4 seminariet. Det kan därför bli lite svårt att uppdatera bloggen men vi skall göra vårt bästa.

Welcome once again.
The interest for JDF and MIS systems that can handle this form of information is rapidly increasing. It is also very interesting that the vendors of smaller MIS systems want to implement JDF support in there soft wares. Because of this we had this week a visit from Admera (Johan Yman and Andreas Magnusson), one of the Swedish suppliers of MIS systems. They want together with the school develop and test JDF in there MIS. As a beginning the school going to test generated Admera JDF files on our pre presses workflows. Admera is like the school very convinced the JDF is a toll for the graphical industry to handle the increased competition in the future. We are really looking forward to test the first JDF file.
This week we also got one more visit from ESKO. Mr. Sean Runchman visited together with Jan Viberg our school. We think that it is very important that a big sponsor like ESKO is visiting our school to get a good impression about how we are using there soft wares and equipment. This visit was probably most important for our student when it comes to getting work place training and job in the future. Sean told us that it is very difficult to get trained persons to employ in England to day.
Next week we are going to San Francisco and the CIP4 conference. Cause to this it could be difficult to update this forum next week, but we will do as well as we can.
